新加坡移民政策 推動留學「新氣象」
新加坡環境美麗、氣候後宜人，有花園國家之稱。其經濟實力強勁，經濟增長飛速，使它成為南亞乃至整個亞洲最搶眼的國家。
由於人口迅速老化，加上出生率持續偏低，新加坡政府正採取更多的鼓勵措施，希望吸引更多移民到該國生活，以解決新加坡高速發展而國內勞動力跟不上需要的問題。對留學生而言，可說是遇上了大好的機會。
為保持經濟的增長速度和穩定的社會格局，新加坡政府計畫在未來十年內把新加坡人口從目前的400萬人增長到650萬人。為保證華人在當地居民75%的比率，新加坡政府新移民政策對華人有所傾斜，越來越多的「台灣人」把新加坡作為移民的理想之地。
新加坡近年來對留學生在當地找工作及移民的政策非常開放，學生如果能夠順利獲得學士及以上的學位，在新加坡帶薪工作3個月時間，就有資格申請永久居民身份。如果就讀國立大學，學生甚至有可能在讀期間就獲得永久居民身份。而且新加坡的就業率非常高，對於想赴新加坡留學的學生來說真是一大福音。
新加坡遭受金融風暴的衝擊的程度比歐美要小得多，當地的旅遊、物流等行業並沒有受多少衝擊。台灣學生在新加坡留學比較容易適應環境、減輕獨處異地的心理壓力，往返也比較方便，這些原因使得新加坡再度成為留學熱點。另外新加坡留學費用較低，眾多大學開辦的專業又極具特色，就業率普遍較高。
金融危機沒有改變新加坡的人才吸引計畫。以2008年為例，共有9.7萬名來自120個國家和地區的學生到新加坡求學，人數上升了13%。金融危機反而為新加坡教育市場帶來新的契機，新加坡要成為亞洲地區酒店服務產業、物流、電子等領域的樞紐，就必須趁金融危機吸引全球人才。因此，新加坡政府為了鼓勵新移民，還會特別頒發教育補助，最高可達到80%的學費減免，同時銀行還能提供90%學費的無息貸款，新加坡政府提供助學金幫助成績優秀但經濟困難的中國學生完成高等教育。
那麼最近幾年留學新加坡讀什麼專業更有利於自身的發展，並且收入頗豐，還能快速實現移民呢？以下推薦的專業是您的首選。
◎酒店與旅遊管理
在新加坡，酒店與旅遊管理專業在國內就業市場的需求潛力很大。新加坡政府已建立2所超大規模的綜合渡假城(賭場)，渡假城(賭場)將會帶來70,000個相關專業的就業機會及連帶專業的200,000個就業機會。
◎物流管理
新加坡是世界公認的物流之都。專業人才需求是每年約1萬人，而目前學校每年畢業生大約在3 ~ 4千人左右，遠遠滿足不了需求。
◎會計、金融管理
除了國內一些有企業家庭背景的學生多會選擇讀工商管理課程外，在新加坡讀會計專業無疑是留學生最關注的課程。由於目前在新加坡美金結算等人才需求缺口極大，使得金融管理專業也成為熱門。
◎大眾傳媒
每年20%的人才需求增長、30%的薪資增長，使傳媒專業成為國內高校的報考大熱門。新加坡是亞太地區的資訊中心，高等院校的大眾傳媒專業實力強勁，專業方向涉及數位電視、多媒體、互聯網等新興傳媒領域。新加坡最近幾年來一直實行寬鬆的移民政策，留學生畢業後在當地找到工作半年後，並且每月的薪金不低於2500新元即可申請永久居民。
